Come join Vale Club's morning bookclub. The Morning Book Club meets every third Tuesday of the month at 10a.m. to discuss a variety of interesting books. We choose from among classics, fiction, non-fiction, biography, memoir, etc. We try very hard to make our selections easily available at the public library, or by paperback.
The Morning Book Club will be held from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. All Vale Club members are invited to attend.
Our October discussion will be on Oct. 18, 2022: Station 11, by Emily St. John Mandel.
We will discuss “Station Eleven” by Emily St. John Mandel. This is a post apocalyptic saga spanning multiple timelines, telling the stories of survivors of a devastating flu as they attempt to rebuild and reimagine the world anew while holding on to the best of what’s been lost.
We will meet at the home of Kathy Zichi. Please let her know if you are coming.
In November, we will discuss “The Dutch House” by Ann Patchett.
Please use Signupgenius (SUG) to let her know you are coming. To be added to the Morning Book Club’s subgroup email list, please contact Diane W. @ edwakeham@aol.com and do not hesitate to email if you have any questions about Sign Up Genius .
