Come join Vale Club's morning bookclub. The Morning Book Club meets every third Tuesday of the month at 10a.m. to discuss a variety of interesting books. We choose from among classics, fiction, non-fiction, biography, memoir, etc. We try very hard to make our selections easily available at the public library, or by paperback.
Our May discussion will be on May 19th: “The Only Woman in the Room” by Marie Benedict
"The Only Woman In The Room" is a true story about a wonderful person. It starts when Hedy Kiesler is a 19 year old aspiring actress in Vienna being pursued by Fritz Mandl the wealthiest man in Austria. He gained his wealth by selling munitions in the period leading up to World War II.
All Vale Club members are invited to attend our lively meetings which take place at the home of one of our members. We keep a subgroup email list to remind people of dates, times, titles and any changes that might happen. If you are not on that list and would like to be added please email ramonabrandt@cox.net or mary.colombi@gmail.com or kelly.carol@gmail.com
Hope to see you all!
