Soldier Care Package Day – May 22, 2020 from 9:30 a.m.to 3 p.m. at the schoolhouse.
You can get involved in several ways:
creating and writing notes in cards,
organizing and repackaging the items or
filling the boxes with all the goodies you have donated.
As always, Darea will provide sample designs for the cards. We appreciate any time that you can spare. A little help goes a long way. We are grateful for anything that you are able to donate – items, time, cash, cards and/or letters to the soldiers.
You can bring your donations to the next meeting on April 14 or drop them off at either of our homes prior to April 27. Your money goes a long way at the Chantilly Dollar Store and Wal Mart. They have tuna/salmon/chicken in a bag, healthy snacks, hygiene items, Sudoku & puzzle books and much more. Costco carries great snacks as well! Just remember the items need to fit into a sandwich size baggie so think size and weight when making your selections.
If you would prefer Sharon and I shop for you, please make sure we have your donations by April 20, 2020.
If you would like us to send a care package to a loved one, please contact Patti at email@example.com no later than April 25, 2020.
