Come join Vale Club's morning bookclub. The Morning Book Club meets every third Tuesday of the month at 10a.m. to discuss a variety of interesting books. We choose from among classics, fiction, non-fiction, biography, memoir, etc. We try very hard to make our selections easily available at the public library, or by paperback.
The Morning Book Club will be up and Zooming to life beginning on Sept. 15 with our first virtual meeting from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. All Vale Club members are invited to attend. You will need a computer or laptop equipped with a microphone and camera, or a tablet such as an iPad or Kindle Fire. A smart phone should work as well. Please sign up on the Morning Book Club’s Sign Up Genius invitation page. Under “location,” instead of the hostess’s address, you will find a direct link to the Zoom meeting.
Our Sept discussion will be on Sept 15: “Empty Mansions: The Mysterious Life of Huguette Clark and the Spending of a Great American Fortune,” by Bill Dedman and Paul Clark Newell, Jr.. The Discussion will be led by Carol Kelly and Kathy Zichi.
To be added to the Morning Book Club’s subgroup email list, please contact one of us. And do not hesitate to email if you have any questions about Sign Up Genius and Zoom. Mary Colombi Mary.colombi@gmail.com Carol Kelly Kelly.carol@gmail.com Ramona Brandt Ramonabrandt@cox.net
