Building Use
The Vale Schoolhouse was initially built as a one-room school about 1884, the white building with its bell tower, served the needs of the small farming community known as Vale. The Building today has 2 rooms and a bathroom with a kitchen in one of the rooms.
The Schoolhouse may be rented by the following:
- Vale Club Members (members in good standing for at least one year) may rent the building for personal use for social occasions (e.g.: parties for birthdays, graduations, etc.).
- Vale Club Members may sponsor a rental of the building for personal use for social occasions (e.g.: parties for birthdays, graduations, etc.).
- Community Service Groups, including Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts may rent the building and will be exempt from the Donation for regular meetings of the group. They will also be exempt from the Security Deposit, but must provide proof of insurance.
- Local Home Owner Associations will be asked for a donation of $50 per meeting. They must provide proof of insurance.
- Other Community groups for meetings, exhibits or programs
